The Color Purple was a Drama movie that came out in 1985, starring Whoopi Goldberg, Danny Glover, and Oprah Winfrey. The movie, as with the book it was made after, was set in Georgia in the early 20th century. In the early part of the movie, the 2 sisters Celie and Nettie were violently separated from each other, forced to live their lives away from one another. This is the very last final ending scene, where Celie and Nettie are finally reunited once again. It’s a tear jerker…so be ready.
